Could you help me with this religion question? (involves my teacher)?

Seriously, it sounds like he has come to a thoughtful and reasoned position on his belief. He is not a creationist but he is still a christian. There is nothing wrong with that. You should just respect him as a christian who has at least come to a reasoned decision, unlike so many who just shout down anyone who questions creationism.
