Is this a reasonable amount of protein powder for a 14 yr old to take?

Don't take it right away. Your body cannot digest and use all that protein at once. I say between the protein powder and the other food you eat during the day you are taking enough protein in order to gain healthy weight. I wouldn't go beyond 2 scoops of protein powder a day though. Ideally you want to get your protein from food.
