If the moon isn't visible in the northern hemisphere is it a full moon in the southern hemisphere?

The moon's orbit is rougly around Earth's equator, rather than around the poles. Because of this, during a full moon (and in fact, in any phase), it is visible from both Northern and southern hemispheres.
