Do i need to install an RCA adapter to my 07 mazda 3's stock stereo?

Does your Mazda have a factory Bose system? If so, you're better off connecting the RCA adapter near the speakers, not behind the head unit. If you don't have Bose, it doesn't matter where you make your connections.
