I'm 30 yoa, I have one child who's 7years old, I have 2 degrees and make a decent living.......?

I would really like to have more children and my boyfriend will be 40. He wants more as well but in the next year or so. I do want to get married before I extend my family but my boyfriend is really scared of commitement. Just a few days ago he emailed me saying,"I love you and wish we were married, Iwant you to have my children and I'm dreaming of our honeymoon together." Then when I asked him about it he laughed and said," who sent you that not me ha ha ha." I take it that he did'nt want to have that serious conversation so I left it alone but I know in the back of my mind ...he sent it. What should I do or not do? Seriously!!!!
