Halloween is a religious holiday,, or should I say it started out as one, it has roots in the Irish Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holy day of All Saints’ Day. Irish immigrants carried versions of the tradition to North America during Ireland's Great Famine of 1846, where it was taken over, and re managed as a non religious festival, but it roots will always remain as a Celtic new year holiday....
