What happened to "good black movies"?

I personally find most of these new "black" movies really stupid, but I was wondering what happened to movies like "Foxy Brown", "Dolomite", "Shaft", to me, those are some of the greatest, funniest movies ever made. Do black people dislike those movies because they are what they call "Blacxploitation?"..I just love Dolemite (Rudy Ray Moore), to me he is the best black comedian that ever lived.!
